BANGALORE AIRPORT SBD AREA SUPPORTED BY ICTS SMARTAPP CHECK-IN UNITS

Bengaluru International Airport has completed installation of the first dedicated SBD (Self Bag Drop) solution in India. SmartApp installed on the mobile kiosks positioned just in front of the SBD units, designed by ICTS and Maxworth, offers a cloud-based, simple, efficient and advanced check-in application. SmartApp is dual mode, with a self-service application and an agent-mode application available as well. SmartApp is integrated with ICTS TravelDoc (the most advanced automated document check software in the world). Full check-in includes a printed boarding pass, TravelDoc check, seat map and printed bag tag (with RFID capabilities included as well), all completed in under 40 seconds. SmartApp is a plug-and-play software. It allows any airline to have a simple and easy integration and it’s free to join! Once an airline at BLR has deployed SmartApp, they can then implement it across their network with no additional costs or IT hassle. The two-step process, which some mistakenly consider as longer or less advanced, is actually the opposite. Not only does Bengaluru International Airport (BIAL) offer airlines a quick implementation of SmartApp, they also offer an open platform free from any manipulative costs like those that are incurred with traditional infrastructure and network charges. This and more, BIAL offers a platform that allows airlines to have full control over their application, with flexibility to adapt new features, but also a fair and transparent model. Indeed, with only a few weeks in operation, the first to join has already transformed more than 50% of its daily operation into the new model. BIAL offers the most advanced SBD implementation concept in the industry, where the innovative solution does not incur hefty charges nor require hardware or software limitations, but rather is quick, easy to implement, and at the same time dramatically cuts unnecessary costs and bureaucracy for users. VISTARA IMPLEMENT SMARTAPP AT BANGALORE, HYDERABAD AND NEW DELHI AIRPORTS

We are proud to announce that Vistara (TATA SIA Airlines limited) has implemented SmartApp. This is the first SmartApp connected to Altea Customer Management, designed in partnership with Amadeus, ICTS and its partner Maxworth Systems. SmartApp is a cloud-based check-in application, simple and easy to deploy and use, and that is free of infrastructure and other network charges. A full check-in can be completed in under 20 seconds, and check-in with bag tag in less than 40 seconds.

EXPRESS KIOSK AT INDIRA GANDHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, NEW DELHI, INDIA

Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi welcomes the first Self-Service Express Check-in Kiosks in Terminal 3. Better customer service, innovation and improved automation are delivered through the Express SmartApp of ICTS Europe Systems and Maxworth Systems. This quick application allows passengers to reprint their boarding pass if already checked in OR quickly check in and print their boarding passes on the spot. In India, each passenger is required to present their boarding pass before entering the terminal as part of the country’s advanced security checks. Our express kiosks at DIAL are currently serving AirAsia, Jet Airways and Vistara - TATA SIA Airlines Ltd. The same application is also available for Indigo, SpiceJet, and GOair. Express kiosks are also deployed in BLR and HYD airports in India.

ICTS EXPRESS CHECK-IN KIOSK AT JW MARRIOTT HOTEL AT NEW DELHI AIRPORT, INDIA

Express Check-in Kiosks have proven to be such a great success that they are now available before arriving at the airport: If you are lucky enough to be staying at the marvellous JW Marriott in Aerocity at Delhi Airport, you can print your boarding pass in advance at the hotel and step into GMR DIAL airport with your head held high and with a smile on your face, as you cut the queues at entry and at check-in. And if you only have hand luggage, you can go straight through to the security checkpoint and onward to your gate. India’s main airports, in BLR DEL and HYD, are some of the most advanced airports in the world providing cutting-edge automated services to their passengers, and we are proud to be partnering with them.

UNITED AIRLINES EXPAND THEIR PARTNERSHIP WITH ICTS MOBILE CPM

United Airlines and ICTS Europe have taken more mobile CPM units to support United’s massive operation in Europe. More mobile CPM units have been deployed at Heathrow Airport Terminal 2, and in Frankfurt, Milan, Berlin, Madrid, Barcelona, Zurich, Athens and Paris. CPM is the leading application to meet the TSA regulations for airlines flying into the US. It was developed and designed by ICTS Europe Systems, drawing on the vast experience of the ICTS Europe security team serving the US carriers for over 25 years. The CPM application enables airlines to meet the new TSA regulations by processing all passengers and using a sophisticated algorithm to allow a vast majority of passengers to complete the security process within seconds. With excellent services provided both by ICTS staff and the efficient CPM units, more and more airlines that fly to the US deploy these units through ICTS Europe operation in Europe.

NEWS ON GARUDA AND KENYA AIRWAYS USING TRAVELDOC

Garuda Indonesia and Kenya airways have activated TravelDoc as their Automated Document Check tool on CM, both are now live.

TRAVELDOC APP NOW AVAILABLE ON MOBILE UNITS

We are pleased to announce that the TravelDoc app feature has been released. The new feature is designed to be installed on our mobile kiosks. Based on the vast experience of the ICTS Europe teams, who serve dozens of airlines at more than 80 locations in Europe, the TravelDoc app is now accessible as a stand-alone application on mobile units. It allows ground handling agents and even passengers to quickly and easily check their visa requirements for their trip, while the most efficient and cost-effective deployment of TravelDoc is when integrated into SmartApp. A stand-alone TravelDoc application positioned in front of the check-in area can create a more efficient check-in process and preclude the need for the traditional manual process.

ICTS EUROPE INTERNATIONAL SECURITY FORUM, TIRANA, ALBANIA

On the 15th and 16th of November, ICTS Albania together with ICTS Cyprus hosted the first International AVSEC Conference in Tirana, Albania. During the event ICTS Europe Systems presented the innovative Cloud-based SmartApp and its new facial recognition capabilities.

ICTS EUROPE SYSTEMS CHRISTMAS PARTY

On the 3rd of December, the team of ICTS Europe Systems celebrated an early Christmas at Swingers Crazy Golf Club. The team enjoyed a game of crazy golf, pizza and cockails as they celebrated Christmas at the trendy venue. The night started off with the first round of drinks and shortly after that the partygoers were divided into teams. As IT professionals, many surprised themselves with special golf skils that would seem better suited to retirees rather than active software developers. This was great fun. Bring on next year!
