An over view on the Thai visa requirements

  • Nationals of over 90 countries enjoy visa-free travel to Thailand, with a permitted stay of 30 or 60 days.  This includes British and EU nationals.
  • Nationals of over ver 30 countries can obtain a visa upon arrival in Thailand for a permitted stay of 15 days. This includes Indian and Serbian nationals.  
  • Travellers may easily apply online on the Thai e-visa website for their entry e-visas.

Types of Thai visa

Here are some ideas for you to explore depending on your purpose and period of travel in Thailand. Applications for different types of Thai visa can be submitted online on the official Thai E-visa website. Make sure to apply in advance as the processing time of a Thai e-visa may take 5 to 10 working days, but not to apply over 90 days in advance.

  • Tourist visa: ideal for beach holidays and cultural trips, allowing stays of up to 60 days.
  • Destination Thailand Visa (DTV): a perfect option for digital nomads or remote workers! If you are looking to experience this work-life style, this visa is designed for that purpose.

Other reminders

All travellers must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card online before their travel. Make sure you had submitted this online form before you depart for your trip!

Travel tips

When planning your trip to Thailand, be aware that your passport needs to contain at least 2 blank pages. Also keep in mind that health requirements or passport validity requirement can change quickly, which may affect your eligibility to enter the country.
