With more than 40 years’ experience in the aviation industry, Peter has built an international career at the intersection of airline operations, technology, government affairs, and regulatory innovation.

After beginning his career with British Caledonian Airways in operational and management roles across Europe, West Africa, and the Middle East, Peter moved into airline technology, helping airlines and ground handlers implement passenger service systems following British Airways’ acquisition of BCal.

Peter’s most significant contributions came during his time at Amadeus, where he held senior global support and product management roles focused on regulatory compliance and government interfaces. He became a recognised industry expert in Advance Passenger Information (APIand border management solutions, working closely with airlines, governments, and international organisations to develop standards and improve global interoperability.

Throughout this period, Peter played an active role in IATA working groups, contributing to the development of industry standards and best practices for passenger data exchange and regulatory compliance. He also worked closely with the United Nations Countering Terrorist Travel (UN CT Travel) Programme, supporting international initiatives to strengthen the implementation of Advance Passenger Information (API) systems and enhance border security while facilitating legitimate travel.

Peter joined ICTS Europe as a consultant, bringing his extensive operational and regulatory expertise to support customers and strategic business development. In early 2024, he was appointed Government Affairs and Strategic Partnerships Manager, where he works with governments, airlines, airports, technology partners, and international organisations to deliver innovative solutions that improve security, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Peter is passionate about building partnerships that enable safer, smarter, and more efficient aviation. He particularly enjoys working across cultures and bringing together stakeholders from industry and government to solve complex challenges through collaboration.

Having witnessed the evolution of aviation from manual processes to today’s highly connected digital ecosystem, Peter has remained at the forefront of many of the industry’s most significant developments. His experience, international perspective, and commitment to collaboration continue to make him a trusted voice in aviation security, border management, and regulatory affairs.
